Colossyan videos are what make Colossyan Learn unique. You can add AI-generated video drafts and finished videos directly into your course pages, all without leaving the platform.
Adding a Colossyan video
- On your page, select the + button
- Select Media
-
At the top, under My Assets, you'll see the Colossyan video section
From here you can:
| Action | What happens |
|---|---|
| Browse existing drafts | See your video drafts and select one to add to the page |
| Browse generated videos | See your finished generated videos and select one |
| Create new | Select the New button to create a fresh Colossyan video draft |
Creating a new draft
When you select New, a Colossyan video draft is created in a separate tab and also added to the canvas in the course editor. You can switch to the draft tab to write your brief, configure settings, and generate the video, then return to the course editor where the video block is already in place.
Tip: If you used Create with AI to generate your course, video drafts are already pre-made and placed into your course for you. You just need to review them and generate the final videos.
The video lifecycle
Colossyan videos in your course go through two stages:
- Draft: The video brief and configuration, before generation. Drafts appear in your course as placeholders.
- Generated video: The finished, rendered video is ready for playback. Once generated, the generated version will replace the draft.
You can manage this entire lifecycle from within the course editor.
