Update the formatting and styling of your multiple choice or branching scenario interactions in Colossyan. All customers with brand kit support can now change the formatting and styling of their multiple choice or branching interactions in Colossyan. In this short help article, we’ll explain how.
How to update the formatting and styling of an interaction
Step 1: Ensure you have a brand kit
From the home page, select Assets, then Brand Kit, and set up a brand kit. To learn more about how to create a brand kit, see this link.
Step 2: Create a draft
Create a draft from any of the starting points, including Start from Scratch, AI Video Creator, PPT Import, or AI Avatar.
Step 3: Add an interaction
Select the Interaction tab and add an interaction to your draft.
Step 4: Select “Edit Style”
Next to the orientation options for half and full-screen interaction, you will see an option to “Edit Style.”
You’ll see a new editing menu appear.
Step 5: Select a brand kit
From the dropdown, you can select a brand kit you’ve created. This will automatically apply colours and font styles to your interaction.
Step 6: Customise
You can customise the colour and opacity for the background, options, and buttons. You can choose non-brand-kit-related colours or randomise from the brand kit.
Step 7: Preview different layouts
You can also preview different layouts and see how your styled interaction might look in various configurations.
Step 8: Apply
Once you are done, hit Apply. This will apply the styling to all interactions in the draft, and it will also apply to any new interaction you add.
FAQ
What happens when I apply a brand kit in the AI Video Creator and opt to include multiple choice and/or branching?
We will smartly apply your selected brand kit to any multiple choice or branching that is added via the AI Video Creator. You’ll be able to edit these once they are in the editor if you want to.
Do I have to set up a brand kit to use this feature?
No, although it will make the customisation process simpler. As long as you have brand kit access, you’ll be able to edit the style of your interactions. You can opt to edit the default styling with custom colours in a draft, but you won’t be able to save this configuration and apply it to other drafts.
Can I change the colour of the text?
No, you can only change the colour and opacity of the background, options, and buttons, as well as change the font family of the text. The text colour itself will always be either black or white to ensure legibility and accessibility against any of the potential colour options creators might opt for.
