Action buttons are an interactive feature that allow you to link to external URLs or jump to scenes. The following examples should give you an idea about the various use cases where this feature could be used.
Step 1: Create a draft, and open the interaction tab
From the interaction tab, you can see the option to add an action button. Select it.
Step 2: Position
An action button will be added to your scene. You can freely move it and position it anywhere on your canvas.
Step 3: Settings
If an action button is selected, you can change the settings in the properties panel.
In the settings menu, you can set the behaviour to either open a URL or jump to a scene. If youβve selected a URL, paste the URL you want the action button to point to into the URL field. If you select jump to scene, select the scene you want the button to point to.

Step 4: Style
You can style your action button, including:
- The fill colour and opacity
- The stroke colour and opacity
- The weight of the stroke
- The curve of the stroke

Step 5: Typography
You can change the typography options, including:
- The font
- The colour of the copy
- The size of the copy
- Bold, italics, and underline
- Left, centre and right alignment
π‘ You can also use your brand kit to change colours in both the styling and typography settings, as well as use custom fonts.
Step 6: Update the text in the button
You can update the text from the default βbuttonβ to anything you want, either updating this in the property panel under label, or by double-clicking on the button on the canvas.
Additional notes
Invisible hotspot
You have the option to make any button invisible if you want to. This is available in the settings submenu.
Translation
All buttons should be automatically translated if you create a language variant.
Animation support
Currently, action buttons do not support entrance and exit animations.
Availability
This feature is available to test via the try page, and is otherwise available for Growth plan and Enterprise Customers.
Pause the video until clicked
If this is set, the video will not continue until a user selects an action button. Currently available when the action button takes the viewer to another scene (Jump to scene).
