Custom templates are live for all enterprise customers. In this help article, we’ll detail how you can create, rename, delete and use them. We’ll also cover who will have access to them, and current limitations.
Step 1: Create a draft
You’ll need to create a draft or open an existing draft.
Step 2: Save as template
There are two points you can save the draft as a custom template:
-
From the hamburger menu on the top right of the Colossyan Editor.
-
Using the settings menu underneath any draft on the home page.
Step 3: Access custom templates
From the templates menu on the home page, you’ll see a new section called ‘Custom templates’. From here, you can see all custom templates in your workspace.
From inside the app, when adding a new scene. Create a new draft and select the scenes you want to add from your custom template, or add a new scene and do the same.
Delete and rename custom templates
You can delete or rename custom templates from the home page. Navigate to the custom template, select the settings menu for it, and choose to rename or delete it.
Workspace limitation
Any custom template can be seen and used by anyone in the workspace. It will not be visible in other workspaces or other Colossyan users.
Using custom templates with the AI Video Creator
Currently, this isn’t possible. We are investigating a way to convert custom templates into templates that will work with the AI Video Creator.
