With a screen recording, you can enhance any product demo, tutorial or online training.
Step-by-step
Click the “Record” option located in the top menu bar.
Playing the script audio could help you match the screen recording with your script. It does not record audio.
- Open the screen recorder and select between tab, the entire screen or window recording.
- Once you're finished, head back to Colossyan to trim your recording if needed, or zoom in on specific sections for added emphasis
- After inserting your recording, you can adjust its size by clicking and dragging the corners of the video frame.
- If you're adding an actor to your scene, make sure they aren't covering any key parts of your recording. For better visibility, consider using the head-only view.
💡Pro tip: Make sure to enable screen recording for your browser in your computer settings.
Aspect ratio & Resolution
The built-in screen recorder uses the dimensions of the selected area:
- window
- tab
- entire screen
The aspect ratio of Colossyan drafts is 16:9 by default - so in case the dimensions of the screen recording are different, you need to adjust the aspect ratio of the draft, to accommodate the screen recording.
The default resolution of the screen recording is 1080p.
