Introducing Editor 3.0
Colossyan's Editor 3.0 was redesigned from the ground up to make creating videos faster, easier, and more flexible.
The old editor served us well, but as we added new features, it became clear we needed a fresh design. The new layout makes it easier to keep your script in focus, experiment with interactive videos, and customize every detail without distraction.
Let's take a look at what's different:
What’s new
Your script now always lives on the left side of the screen. Properties like music, backgrounds, and transitions sit on the right. This means you always see your script in full view while adjusting your video.
The default properties panel appears when nothing is selected, or when you click outside of a scene. For example, if you want to change background music for the whole video, just click off the scene and update it directly in the right panel.
Properties for avatars, media, text and any other elements will appear in the right menu when you select them on the scene.
The commenting menu has moved to the top right. You’ll now find it alongside auto translation, preview, sharing, and video generation.
We’ve also updated the top left hamburger menu. It now holds grid controls, orientation options (landscape, vertical, square, or custom), as well as quick links to the help center and feedback.
You can resize the script box by dragging it, making it as large or small as you need. The same goes for the branching video scene menu, giving you more room to design and visualize complex scenarios.
Important: The feedback button from the right part of the screen is now in the top left hamburger menu, and you can use it if you need to report a bug, submit a feature request or share feedback.
