What is NEO?
Our NEO model results in more natural facial expressions, blinking and head movements. We are currently in the first phase of implementing NEO technology, so you can already test it out on a few avatars.
What does NEO stand for?
NEO stands for Neural Expressive Output, and it's Colossyan's latest AI avatar model, designed to bring more expressiveness to AI avatars.
How are NEO avatars different from other avatars?
NEO Avatars are more expressive and realistic compared to previous AI avatar models, which is achieved through more natural facial expressions, eyebrow movements, blinking and other micro-expressions.
Which avatars support NEO technology?
The first avatars to support NEO are scenario avatars Lisa, Ryan, Gloria, Michael and Nathan. You can try them out by selecting them in the Avatars menu.
When will NEO be fully released?
We are gradually rolling out NEO to more and more scenario avatars, instant avatars, and finally, studio avatars. The model will also improve throughout the rollout, with the full NEO rollout expected by late summer of 2025.
