🤔 What is a custom Colossyan Studio Avatar?

A Colossyan Studio Avatar is the creation of a hyper-realistic digital version of you, which you can use as the presenter when creating videos in Colossyan.
The avatar can be used in your Colossyan videos, where it would narrate your text, allowing you to save hundreds of hours by not having to film yourself every single time.
🪄 How is it created?
The avatar will be created by training the algorithm on actual footage, which you will record in a green screen studio.
With a Studio Avatar, you will get all 3 types of avatar views that we currently offer (bubble, shoulder, and body).
💭 What is the difference between an Instant and a Studio avatar?
A Studio Avatar includes bubble, shoulder, and body views, and the background is removed.

👨🎤 Who can become a Studio Avatar?
Anyone! It could be yourself or one of your team members, as long as they've given consent, and are willing to record themselves at a green screen studio.
⏰ How long does it take?
Creating a custom studio avatar involves a short filming session of around 1 hour. Once we have the footage, it takes 10-15 business days to prepare your Studio Avatar.
🎥 What do I need in terms of equipment?
For the best possible quality, we highly recommend recording yourself at a green screen studio with professional equipment. You will need the following equipment:

A camera that shoots at 59.94FPS or 60FPS, preferably in 4K

Good lighting - we recommend studio lighting.
When requesting a studio avatar, you will be able to download more detailed instructions. Contact us to organize a video call with our video engineer, so you can have extra support on your recording day — this feature is free for anyone who buys a studio avatar.

It's your choice! You can select one of our voices in 70+ languages, or create a custom digital voice that will resemble your real voice.

👨💻 Will anyone else have access to my avatar?
No, your avatar will not be added to the public Colossyan avatar library — it will only be on your account. If you want your avatar to be available to your team members who are also using Colossyan, you can request that from our support team.
