Using Colossyan’s multi-lingual player, Creators can now create and share multi-lingual videos. Creators can generate several videos in different languages, then combine these into a single video player. Viewers of this video will then have the option to choose which language they would like to watch the video in. This means that you can now create a single video with many different languages present, streamlining your file management while catering to a diverse range of language needs.
How to create a multi-lingual video
Step 1:
Create a new draft.
Step 2:
Create new language variants of this draft.
Step 3:
Optional step: In Colossyan, if you edit a language variant, it will change parts of other variants. If you are unhappy with the changes that are made in this way, you can export the language variant as a new draft, then edit that as a separate video. You will still be able to combine these once they are generated.
Step 4:
Generate the language variants.
Step 5:
Once the videos have been generated, from the home page, select the library button.
Step 6:
Now select the ‘new project’ button, then ‘Multi-Language video’
Step 7:
Select the generated videos you want to combine. You will notice that all language variants generated from the same draft are automatically selected.
Step 8:
Select ‘combine x videos’
Step 9:
The multi-lingual video will be created and tagged as such.
